Christmas fun

I've been messing around with my new mounted Flash and recording random things with my new digital voice recorder. How fun. I beat the episode 3 game in about 2 hours, but the multiplayer is quite fun. I've been listening to my new CD's and wearing my new clothes (who would've thought that someday I'd be happy about getting clothes for christmas!). I guess I've completely crossed over into "teh metro" now that I have a banana republic shirt. I also got two beard trimmers, yes two, because both my mom and Jessie had the same idea. Great minds think alike. Jessie also got me a copy of Goethe's Faust with the original german on one page and the english translation on the other. I'm looking forward to reading that again. All in all it was quite a fun christmas. I got jessie a yaoi manga, two CD's and a shirt that says "-1Str/+2Cha" and she loves it. My dad got so many wine bottles that were obvious through the wrapping that we just started saying they were books....and books became wine bottles. We also bought him a wine bottle rack, which became a bookshelf. I'm sure he'll enjoy "reading" all of his "books". Tomorrow's new year's eve and I'm doing abosulutely nothing! Yaaaaay!

I don't really quite feel like posting on my site, so I'll just post here for now.

Jessie and I watched The Phantom of The Opera tonight, or rather last night...seeing as now is tomorrow, or rather now is today, which was tomorrow a few minutes ago. Time is annoying. Getting back to the phantom, it was good. I've always liked the phantom's dark music and story...so it was a fun watch. Today's mother's day...which means that I'll have to wake up early to pick a few roses from our rose bushes for "me ma". I recently watched snatch yet again(probably one of my favourite movies), thus the pikey dialect. Guy Ritchie is great. I've been listening to a lot of trance lately, mostly Aphex Twin, autechre and Squarepusher. It's strangely relaxing music. The new NiN album completely...enfuriates me. It just pisses me off to see such a great band try to mainstream themselves and end up producing crap. Maybe that's just my opinion, others would probably like it...but I don't much like mainstream clones. Enough ranting for the night...morning, whatever. I probably should go to bed soon, but I probably will not. If Jessie were still here I might be more inclined to go to bed, seeing as I sleep better than a baby on sleeping pills while next to her/holding her. Alas, that can't be for probably a little bit. I'm off to read until I fall asleep.

A slight update. Spent the morning at UAH at a photography workshop that lasted 30 minutes instead of the said two hours, and then the end of a journalism one. It was fun, and Jessie met us there (us being journalism and a few lit mag people). We ate lunch at Rosie's cantina, went to a thrift store...and had a conversation with a navy recruiting officer as we were trying to get our friend out of their office. I really dislike recruiters, they really will try to find any reason for you to join them...grrr. Jessie just left for work a lil bit ago...she left late because we fell asleep and woke up around 5:05, and she works at 5:30 kinda far away. I hope she isn't late. I'm off to play something until dinner is done.

It's really pretty outside, the sky is gray and hazy and raining I think. I don't mean to sound emo, I just really like rainy weather. It's also cold...I love cold, which fulfills the canadian stereotype I guess. I spent most of the day until around 4:30 with Blake and Shannon, which was fun. Shannon is blake's girlfriend, and blake is my best friend. We played Fable and I showed them Anarchy Online, which I'm playing again...yes another relatively new mmorpg, not really new...I just stopped playing it after like 8 months back when I started FFXI. Anyways, I missed Jessie the whole day. She called and I called her a few times, I think she's getting sick...which isn't fun. Right now she's at work, and I'm just sitting here writing this post. Hopefully I can see her after work, if not I'll see her tomorrow after she goes to class. I'm listening to modest mouse right now, good music...yep yep. I haven't posted in a while. Life goes on much as it has since I last posted. I'm on break for the week, fall break...a very nice invention by the school board people of doom. We published our second issue in journalism, with a politics theme for the elections. I wrote two articles for it but we didn't have room for them, and then I had pictures of the homecoming parade but they were wrongfully deleted by me in a mass of confusion about the shipping date. I don't really care though, I still worked on it...and my stuff wouldn't make it any better than it is. I'm writing an article about photography for the november issue which has an art theme for the centerspread, and maybe an opinion article. I usually leave a message on Jessie's cell when she's at work, which I think I'm gonna go do now, and maybe write her an e-mail to read when she gets home...because I love her a whole bunch like a humongous sticky rolling ball of growing love.

So...I'm finally updating, how lovely. Jessie's been telling me to update, and that's about the only reason I would do this, because I really have nothing relevent to say. I'm watching Fight Club with the commentary by Chuck Palahnuik, because it's such a great thing and I'm incredibly bored. I've been taking pictures with my new camera, which I'm not sure if I've mentioned. This new camera is a Minolta Maxxum 70, my first film camera...and is quite simply beautiful. Of course it can't top the beauty which resides in what most casual readers of my blog (who are near to non-existant) would easily guess, yes...Jessie. I haven't been writing as much, but I still do...and I've also started writing in a journal(yes writing where none of you can see) that Jessie bought me. I'm still reading Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahnuik oh so slowly, because I never feel like reading for some reason(and probably because Jessie keeps getting me into new Manga Series, damn that beautiful beautiful girl I love). Hmm, oh yes...more irrelevent things to say, I've left FFXI for City of Heroes...FFXI was crushed but in the end we're still friends. City of heroes is fun, and the character creation is simply much too fun(I can't stop making new characters). My main character is a guy in tight blue spandex and a winged-helmet thing who calls himself The Frost Avenger and shoots icy doom at evil-doers of Paragon City. Sam, andrew, and my sister's boyfriend also play it. I have too much to say since last I updated, and I can't remember everything...it's all pretty irrelevent anyways...so I'll leave you to this overly longer-than-usual post.

I haven't really updated in a while, but fuck off...you losers can just find someone else's life to read because you don't have one of your own. Anyways, I bought my first film camera today, it's just...great, and ooo and aaah and amazing. I haven't stopped playing with it since I got it. I got accepted into the journalism staff at my school, so that'll come in handy. Jessie and I will be celebrating our 4th month together soon soon, like in 10 days...very fun. I've been playing a lot of FFXI and black and white when I can't see Jessie because she has to babysit, so that's fun too...except for the not seeing Jessie thing, but I'll live. I have to stop and say that I love her so very much, it's indescribable. I don't know what I'd do without her, probably not very much. All I want to do is make her the happiest woman in the world, which she says she already is, but I think I can make her happier. Anyways, life goes on...as always, unless I die...then life doesn't go on, it ends...unless you believe in an afterlife, and then it doesn't really, or does it...would it be, unlife? I'm tired, I need to sleep, and stop using ... Yeah, so I think I'm going to go do that.

I just got back from seeing Les Miserables, and it was really great. The whole time I wished Jessie could've been there with me, but alas that wasn't possible. I also went to the school's art show before that and walked around with the family showing off my crappy artwork. I like my charcoal portrait of Thom Yorke, but my sky pastel just...sucks ass. Tomorrow's random picnic idea #3, the playground in my neighborhood...that should be fun, plus I really miss Jessie, I haven't seen her in *gasp* at least 10 hours!

I've been spending a lot of time with Jessie, yeah...big change...but I've got nothing else to say. Everytime I'm with her it's like I fall in love all over again, and even more than the last...it's like this big spiral that keeps getting bigger. Anyways, she's too great for words...and I love her endlessly, boundlessly, eternally. Me and Jessie had a pizza picnic at the greenway yesterday, it was really great. We took pictures and ate pizza and walked down the trail till night fell and then headed back to my house. It was lots of fun, and I got some really nice shots of the woods and the stream and some random soda can hooked onto a tree branch...interesting stuff. Nothing better than to do one of your favourite things(photography)with the one you love.
